Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, vulnerability research, and IT infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in IT security, including knowledge of PRTG, APIs, BGP, RMF, SAN
- Familiarity with network architecture and infrastructure
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance is a plus
